Yoga Nidra (or Yogic Sleep) is a method of conscious relaxation. Awareness is directed
inwards through a series of guided visualizations. This induces a deeply relaxed
state. Yogis believe that one hour of Yoga Nidra provides the benefits of four hours
of conventional sleep!
Your body is alive with energy! It is what the Chinese call qi (chi), the Hindu
call prana, and the Japanese call ki (key). Within you and around you, it envelops
you in a subtle mantle affecting your well being on all levels: physical, emotional,
mental, and spiritual. We’ll explore your energy body and some techniques for balancing
it. Come dressed comfortably, bring a journal, and an extra layer if you wish.
Explore modern dance techniques, creative expression, improvisation, and choreography
